Very Nice! The Kazakh tourism board launched a new campaign in October 2020, adopting Borat’s viral catchphrase “Very nice!” as their official slogan. Danbury’s City Council voted to rename its sewage plant “The John Oliver Memorial Sewer Plant,” following an expletive-filled rant against the city on HBO’s Last Week Tonight with John Oliver in August. Oliver offered to donate $55,000 to local charities if Danbury actually followed through with the idea, which they did.
