The new book, “The Philosophy of Modern Song,” is his first release of new material since “Chronicles.” The book hit stores on Nov. 8, 2022.

“Why Didn’t They Ask Evans?” is a murder mystery novel by Agatha Christie, first published in the UK in Sept. 1934. Nearing the book’s 90th anniversary, actor Hugh Laurie wrote, produced, and directed a three-part mini-series based on the novel. Atwood and Penguin Random House announced on May 23, 2022, that a one-off, unburnable edition of The Handmaid’s Tale would be auctioned through Sotheby’s New York. Proceeds will be donated to PEN, which advocates for free expression around the world.

Jikji, a collection of Confucian teachings, was printed by a group of Korean monks in the ancient city of Cheongju in 1377. Jikji is the world’s oldest surviving book printed with movable metal type, predating the earliest Gutenberg Bible by 78 years. The only known copy of Jikji is in France, after being purchased in 1877 and eventually donated to France’s national library. It has not been on display for over 50 years.
