Danbury’s City Council voted to rename its sewage plant “The John Oliver Memorial Sewer Plant,” following an expletive-filled rant against the city on HBO’s Last Week Tonight with John Oliver in August. Oliver offered to donate $55,000 to local charities if Danbury actually followed through with the idea, which they did.

Asked by a reporter why Mr. Trump hasn’t fired Dr. Fauci, the President said: “I don’t want to hurt him. He’s been there for about 350 years.” Dr. Fauci, 79, has served under both Republican and Democrat presidents since 1984.
