You might be sorry to hear that after a 14 year and 20 season run, “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” will be ending next year. The Kardashians themselves, it appears, are here to stay indefinitely. 

Netflix removed Dave Chappelle’s comedy sketch series Chappelle’s Show after the comedian requested them to do so. Chappelle claims he “never got paid” after leaving the ViacomCBS-owned show.

‘They (ViacomCBS) didn’t have to pay me because I signed the contract,’ Chappelle said in a video he posted on Instagram, Nov. 24, 2020. ‘But is that right? Perfectly legal ‘cause I signed the contract. But is that right? I didn’t think so either. That’s why I like working for Netflix. When I found out they were streaming ‘Chappelle’s Show,’ I was furious. I called them and I told them that this makes me feel bad. And you want to know what they did? They agreed that they would take it off their platform just so I could feel better.‘

R.I.P. Alex Trebek, who hosted the American quiz show Jeopardy! for over 30 years. Trebek announced in 2019 that he had advanced pancreatic cancer. He passed away Sunday, Nov. 8, 2020.  On Jeopardy!, contestants famously have to begin their answers with the phrase: ‘Who is’ or ‘What is.’

RIP Conchata Ferrell. The actress was best known for her role as Berta the housekeeper on TV’s Two and a Half Men. Her career on stage and in movies also included Mystic Pizza and Network. She was 77.

Exactly. Danbury’s City Council voted to rename its sewage plant “The John Oliver Memorial Sewer Plant,” following an expletive-filled rant against the city on HBO’s Last Week Tonight with John Oliver in August. Oliver offered to donate $55,000 to local charities if Danbury actually followed through with the idea, which they did.

Of Course. The Emmy-nominated Netflix comedy series Glow about a troupe of female professional wrestlers plans for a fourth and final season have now been scrapped due to production delays caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.

You know your Emmys! Schitt’s Creek pulled off an unprecedented sweep of all comedy categories at Sunday’s Primetime Emmy Awards. It will launch in U.S. broadcast syndication beginning September 28.

Patrick Dempsey played Ellen Pompeo’s love interest, and then her husband in Grey’s Anatomy, TV’s longest-running primetime medical drama, ever. The beloved dead character made a surprise appearance in Grey’s Anatomy’s season 17 premiere – a season that centers around the COVID-19 pandemic.

 Showtime ordered a new limited-series revival of the long-running serial-killer drama Dexter. The original followed Dexter Morgan, a conflicted expert for the Miami Police Department who was also a serial killer. Michael C. Hall starred as the title character in the 2006-13 series and is back for the new ten episodes run along with showrunner Clyde Phillips. The new series is set to go into production in early 2021 with a tentative premiere date of fall 2021.
